Hayfever

Hayfever symptoms can often be managed with a few practical steps. Monitor daily pollen forecasts and limit outdoor activity when counts are high. Keep windows closed, especially in the morning, and shower after being outside to remove pollen from skin and hair. Wearing sunglasses can help protect the eyes, and avoiding drying clothes outdoors reduces exposure. Over-the-counter antihistamines and steroid nasal sprays are most effective when started early and used consistently.

Asthma

Asthma control relies on avoiding triggers and using treatment correctly. Monitor symptoms and use preventer inhalers daily as prescribed, even when feeling well. Carry reliever inhalers at all times and use them as directed. During high pollen or pollution days, limit outdoor exertion. Seek medical advice if symptoms increase, reliever use becomes more frequent, or breathing worsens.
